Hampton by Hilton

Project: Palm Holdings under its subsidiary, Marigold Hospitality, has partnered with Hampton by Hilton in India. In April 2008 a contract was executed between Hilton International and Marigold Hospitality to build and operate up to 16 hotels, of which Marigold is working diligently to complete.

Why Hampton by Hilton?

Hampton by Hilton is one of the most effective brands in North America. Although part of Hilton they have been able to create a brand of their own with more than 1500 hotels in the US alone. Hampton is also focused on going international; they have illustrated success when going international through its entry into Mexico and Canada. Their new focus is the United Kingdom and India. Hampton by Hilton during our search process was also the most helpful and their plans for global expansion were far more concrete than any other brands. We believe the product is a proven product and the team is like no other. Hampton was also a flexible brand eager to adapt to the Indian market place. Palm Holdings has been working with Hampton to adapt the brand and create an Indian flavor, an east meets west design.

The legal entities of each of the businesses may have different ownership structures and have different boards not least because of Joint Venture agreements and funding arrangements but one or more of the Executives are normally involved in each separate legal entity whether through direct/indirect share ownership and/or board representation. The different legal entities are not in partnership with one another nor held out as such and do not have any liability (save under specific contractual arrangements) for one another's liabilities. None of these legal entities have any power, authority, or capacity to bind any other legal entity listed.
